Overview

Lauren Deery, PA-C is a Florida native and has been a resident of Sarasota County since 2011. She completed her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida. After moving to Sarasota in 2011, Lauren began her career as a PA in the emergency department and hospital-owned urgent care centers, where she worked for 13 years. In March of 2024, she transitioned to radiation oncology at GenesisCare.

Lauren believes that truly listening to patients' concerns and meeting them where they are is essential to providing compassionate and high-quality care in radiation oncology. She strives to ensure that her patients feel comfortable and well-educated before, during, and after their radiation treatments.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and gardening.
