Overview

Michael A. Stewart, MD is a board certified radiation oncologist treating all cancers in adult patients. Practicing since 1989, Dr. Stewart spent the last 30+ years in solo private practice serving patients in rural Bridgeport, WV.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Lehigh University, PA, Dr. Stewart earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, PA before completing residencies in radiation oncology at the University of Chicago, Il, and SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Stewart has served in various clinical leadership roles, including Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at both United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV and Fairmont Regional Cancer Center in Fairmont, WV. He has authored several clinical publications.

Dr. Stewart takes an individualized and patient-centered approach to care, believing that high-quality cancer care is a true partnership between the patient and physician. He recently relocated to the South Florida area and sees patients in Wellington, FL.
