Dr. Kelly Elleson is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon, certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the Society of Surgical Oncology. She completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, as well as a research fellowship in surgical oncology, with a focus on melanoma and cutaneous malignancies.
Dr. Elleson specializes in the care of those with all types of breast disease — from benign cysts to complex and metastatic breast cancer. In addition to performing advanced breast and melanoma surgeries, including mastectomies, lumpectomies, and sentinel lymph node biopsies, she has particular expertise in surgical techniques designed to prevent lymphedema.
A Fort Myers native, Dr. Elleson is deeply committed to providing patient-centered, multidisciplinary care to her community. She sees patients throughout Southwest Florida and was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a prestigious designation that reflects her dedication to the highest standards of surgical excellence, ethical practice, and compassionate care.
