Overview
Dr. Adam Mues is a board-certified urologist with extensive experience in comprehensive adult urologic care. He practices all areas of adult urology, with advanced expertise in urologic oncology, robotic assisted surgery and open surgery. His clinical interests include the treatment of cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, adrenal tumors, complex kidney stone disease, pelvic organ prolapse, reconstructive surgery; urinary incontinence; female urology; and focal therapy for prostate cancer.
Dr. Mues completed fellowship training at Columbia University–New York-Presbyterian Hospital in urologic oncology, robotic surgery and endourology. He completed his urology residency and general surgery internship at The Ohio State University, and earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry with distinction from the University of Kansas, where he was a member of the Chemistry Honors Program and Phi Beta Kappa.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mues has held academic and teaching appointments, including serving as Assistant Professor of Urology and Urologic Oncology at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is a nationally recognized researcher and educator, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited lectures focused on minimally invasive urologic surgery, kidney and prostate cancer, endourology, and robotic surgical innovation.
Dr. Mues is licensed to practice medicine in Nebraska and Florida and is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care using the latest surgical and non-surgical advances to improve outcomes and quality of life for his patients.
